Institutional Sales Manager

Location: Bangalore

Job Description

  • Overall responsibility to develop and manage the Institutional Sales Business reporting to the VP Sales
  • Prospecting and identifying new business customers, new opportunities at existing customers
  • Understanding specific customer requirements in terms of product specifications, quantity, and delivery
  • Receiving customer RFQs and providing sales / pricing quotes after fully understanding the requirements and matching with company's offerings and order books/ delivery lead times
  • Negotiate and convert the sales quotes to orders and release the sales orders for order entry and processing.
  • Ensuring that the customer needs are fully communicated internally technical specs, quantity, packaging & delivery requirements etc.
  • Coordination with Sales Planning and Forecasting function
  • Ensure on time collection of payments as per agreed terms
  • Track and report on market and customer level trends and competition activities
  • Work with the Quality team in addressing any customer complaints
  • Identify and work through the VP Sales to identify new product opportunities and lead the activities at the customer level

Candidate Profile

Qualification: MBA Sales and Marketing with Graduation in Any Discipline

Age: 28- 31 Years

Experience:

  • 5-8 Yrs in handling the Institutional Sales preferably dealing with lighting or electrical products
  • Ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities presented by the growing economy
  • Highly effective communicator with high level of organizational skills
  • Result oriented person
