Assitant Manager - Supply Chain

Job Description

Assistant Manager - Supply Chain will be responsible for sourcing activities for the Consumer Lighting Channel. Ideal candidate will work closely with suppliers and ensure fruitful partnership with them, resulting in seamless supply of quality material at right time and right price.

The key responsibilities that the role entails are:
  • Ensure continuous supply of material, follow up orders placed and maintain necessary records.
  • Participate in monthly sales planning activities and plan for proper supply of material to warehouses.
  • Monitor suppliers on a regular basis, analyze trends and ensure continuous improvement in supplier process.
  • Act as an interface between suppliers and Product Management Team for New Product Developments.
  • Identify new suppliers and evaluate them on Quality, Cost, Delivery and Financial position.
  • Negotiate with suppliers for better pricing of products.
  • Logistics management

Qualification / Requirements

  • Experience of 4-6 Yrs in Sourcing & Vendor Development in Lighting/Electrical products
  • Ability to independently negotiate with suppliers on price & terms
  • Proven track record of vendor development
  • Ability to communicate fluently in Hindi and English

Min. Experience: 4 years

Max. Experience: 6 years

Qualification: Bachelors Degree in Commerce or Business Administration

CTC: 4-6 lakhs per annum
