Job Description

  • Understand and develop product specification
  • Development of PCB and electrical design
  • Prototype building and testing
  • Interfacing with cross-functional departments - marketing, manufacturing, quality and key vendor
  • Conducting design reviews
  • Resolve manufacturing issues and assist with product launch
  • Resolve customer complaints
  • Supporting continuous improvement of products and processes

Candidate Profile

Education: BE Electrical & Electronics or allied disciplines

Age: 27-30 Years

Experience:

Experience of 5-7 Yrs in PCB Design and Product development in a consumer/industrial electronics industry.

  • Ability to lead Product design and development activities with a high degree of independence.
  • Competency in power electronics & control - design, analysis, breadboarding and testing
  • Proficiency is software simulation tools
  • Working knowledge of lighting system requirements and electronic ballast design is desirable
  • Proficiency in the software design and implementation of micro-controller based systems (with emphasis on programming languages such as C and assembly) is desirable.
  • Basic project leadership skills with understanding of product development processes
  • Good oral and written communication skills, and working in team environments
