The Lighting Lab at CEMA Limbasi Lighting division is accredited by NABL for Optical Calibration ; Colour Chromaticity (color co-ordinates) and Luminous Flux measurements of lamps.

Testing & Calibration services

The Lighting Lab is accreditated by NABL for optical calibration and carries second generation standard lamps supplied by the National Physical Laboratory to support the calibration service for all types of incandescent and fluorescent lamps.

The lab offers complete evaluation and testing services for all types of incandescent and fluorescent lamps as per the applicable BIS standards.  Standard Lamps

The laboratory prepares standard lamps for the following lamp types

  • Incandescent Lamps (GLS): 25/40/60/100W
  • Fluorescent Lamps (FTL) : 18/20/36/40W

We also make deactivated fluorescent lamps for testing of FTL starter as per IS 2215:2006. These lamps are specially made without the emitter paste and phosphor coating. We can process requests for reference/deactivated lamps with very short lead times at market competitive rates.
